Position Overview:
The Assistant Director of the Child Care Center plays a pivotal role in
assisting the Director with the overall management, operations, and
administration of the center. The Assistant Director collaborates closely with
the Director to ensure the highest standards of care, education, and
safety for children, staff, and families.
Responsibilities:
-Collaborate with the Director in overseeing all aspects of the center's
daily operations, including curriculum implementation, staff
supervision, and facility management.
- Assist in developing and implementing age-appropriate educational programs
and curricula that align with the center's philosophy and state regulations.
- Support staff recruitment, training, and professional development,
including orientation for new hires.
- Provide leadership and guidance to teachers and staff, promoting a
positive work environment and fostering a strong sense of teamwork.
- Collaborate with families to build and maintain positive relationships,
addressing concerns, and ensuring open communication.
- Assist with enrollment, registration, and maintaining accurate records
for children attending the center.
- Monitor and maintain compliance with state licensing regulations, health
and safety standards, and other relevant guidelines.
