A distinguished University in Los Angeles is looking for a Project Manager to join the IT PMO and report to the Sr. Project Manager within the PMO. This role will be focused on driving the completion of an AWS migration from on-premise working closely with the infrastructure team at the University. They are about 75% complete with this AWS migration and need someone to come in to support with vendor management (with an implementation partner), scheduling and alignment between the vendor and the IT team, and mitigating project risks to get them to the finish line. They are looking for someone proactive, diligent, strong with time management and ability to align an outside vendor and internal teams. Their day to day will include meeting with the internal server and cloud engineering teams, cyber-security, working with the PMO itself, and driving the project forward with the vendor partner.

-AWS migration project management experience (ideally from an on-premise environment)
-Experience managing and working with vendor partners through an implementation or migration project
-5+ years of IT project management experience in an enterprise environment or higher education institution
-Jira/Confluence/or Smartsheets experience for project tracking
