Village Truck Sales is seeking a full-time CDL Class A Equipment Mover to join the team!

A CDL Class A Equipment Mover, also known as a CDL Driver or Heavy Equipment Transporter, is responsible for safely operating commercial vehicles with a Class A CDL license to transport heavy equipment and machinery between various locations. This role requires exceptional driving skills, attention to safety regulations, and the ability to efficiently load, secure, and unload heavy equipment.

SHIFT: 8:00am - 4:30pm, Monday - Friday

PAY: Based off experience

RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Operate commercial vehicles, including tractor-trailers and heavy-duty trucks, in a safe and responsible manner.
- Transport heavy equipment, machinery, and vehicles to and from construction sites, job sites, dealerships, and other locations.
- Ensure equipment is securely loaded, properly secured with tie-downs, and safely positioned on the trailer.
- Safely load and unload heavy equipment onto and off the trailer, using ramps, winches, and other equipment as necessary.
- Ensure proper weight distribution and balance of the load to prevent accidents during transportation.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch, supervisors, and other team members to provide updates on travel progress, delays, and other relevant information.
- Adhere to federal and state transportation regulations, including Hours of Service (HOS) regulations for drivers.

QUALIFICATIONS:
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Experience preferred but willing to train
- Effective communication skills and the ability to work well within a team.
