DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC WORK MOTOR EQUIPMENT OPERATORS

The City of Watertown seeks qualified candidates for Motor Equipment Operation positions with
the Department of Public Works. This position performs a variety of public works activities
including road and sidewalk construction; water and sewer repairs; plowing; operation of heavy
equipment and other related duties.
Qualifications: High School diploma or GED, the ability to work alternate shifts and overtime.
A Commercial Driver?s License (CDL) Class B with airbrakes endorsement and a clean driving
record are all required. Applicants will be required to complete a Criminal Record Release Form,
post-offer physical examination and Department of Transportation CDL screening.
Salary: $1,838.81 bi-weekly, excellent benefit package, which includes vacation, personal
and sick time, pension plan, flexible spending, deferred compensation as well
as other benefits available to City employees.
