Job Description: |
JOB SUMMARY: The Millwright position consists of working on industrial and agricultural locations doing new construction, performing upgrades, maintenance, and service on facilities, machinery, and equipment.
ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: • Efficiently and accurately assist with the installation and maintenance of machinery in factories, power plants, and construction sites • Adhere to all Prairie Grain Partners’ safety policies and procedures in compliance with Company and regulatory agencies (OSHA, EPA, DNT, DOT, ect.) • Maintain knowledge of grain storage equipment such as bucket elevators, conveyors, distributors, augers, spouting, legs, storage bins and tanks, structural towers, catwalks, platforms, etc. • Assist in the preparation of job sites • Assist in loading, unloading, lifting, and moving of materials, parts, and tools to and from sites • Perform welding duties, such as flat, vertical, and overhead stick welding as needed • Operate hand and power tools and other equipment as required to complete projects • Perform assigned tasks to time standards and quality expectations • Assist crew with clean-up and housekeeping duties around job site, trucks, and trailers ensuring job sites are clean and orderly • Maintain professional, respectful relationships with internal and external customers • Maintain safe and clean working environment by complying with all safety procedures, rules, and regulations • Assist other operations and agronomy team members for job completion and efficiency
