Technical Operations
Technical Operations includes the maintenance, repair and overhaul of our aircraft. This includes aircraft maintenance technicians, engineers, planners, ground equipment and facilities teams, supply chain teams and more.
This position is located at MEX airport at Distrito Federal, Mexico.
Job overview and responsibilities
- Performs all aspects of aircraft maintenance work including servicing, repair, and proper work documentation in accordance with company procedures and specifications
- May be required to exercise Aircraft Release Authority
- Demonstrates initiative and leadership to other A&P Mechanics
This position is offered on local terms and conditions. Expatriate assignments and sponsorship for employment visas, even on a time-limited visa status, will not be awarded.
Qualifications
Required
- Must be able to speak, read and write in English and Spanish
- Must hold valid country (DGAC) Aircraft Maintenance Certificate and valid FAA A&P licenses
- Completion of local Mechanic Qualification Requirements
- Must hold a valid Passport and U.S. Visa
- Must have three (3) years experience on B737 and Airbus A-320 or similar type of aircraft
- Prefer five (5) years experience on B737 and Airbus A-320 or similar type of aircraft
- Must be legally authorized to work in Mexico without sponsorship
- Regular attendance and punctuality in accordance with United's policies is required
- Must be flexible to work ANY shift that is assigned to you within a 24 hour, 7 day a week operation which can include late nights, early hours, weekends and holiday
- Attendance is required at work location
- Successful completion of interview required to meet job qualifications
