Keys to Success:

  • Own all sales account management responsibilities of the Thermo Fisher Scientific Environmental and Process monitoring (Process systems and Gas analysis), Gauging and Process Inspection products to all sites.
  • Prospect for new business, qualify sales leads, and generate a strong opportunity funnel. Continually advance opportunities to close business.
  • Develop territory business plan and update according to business and market changes. Provide accurate booking forecasts and reporting on a monthly/quarterly basis.
  • Prepare and deliver exciting, compelling, and focused technical presentations.
  • Confirm all system configurations, specifications and acceptance conditions are appropriate for closing orders.
  • Work collaboratively with other commercial team members to share market feedback and ensure full value is provided to customers.
  • Support product issues in the field by collaborating closely with the service group and application engineers for solutions.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience (preferred)
  • Consistent track record of success in a sales role, preferably within the scientific or technology industry
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a focus on achieving results
  • This position is ideal for an experienced professional wanting to be involved with a diverse team and exposed to a constant variety of customer application areas.

Physical Requirements / Work Environment

  • Ability to travel to customer sites and industry events, as needed
