POSITION SUMMARY:

The Regional Member Service Associate position is responsible for enriching member relationships while providing exceptional service and support to members and coworkers in a variety of locations. Assisting assigned branches in meeting and exceeding sales expectations by providing personalized, professional service in all interactions, including providing front line coverage are primary functions of the role.

Pay range for this hourly position is $23.64 - $27.64/hr.

1. Adheres to the Credit Union's core values and Service Standards in conducting GreenState's mission and vision.
2. Demonstrates a positive member service (internal and external) focus at all times.
3. Demonstrates teamwork in all interactions with coworkers and in the completion of all duties and responsibilities.
4. Ensures confidentiality of member information.
5. Supports a diverse and inclusive work environment.
6. Ensures confidentiality of member account records and account information.
7. Performs all aspects of MSR position. Has a firm understanding of all credit union policies and procedures for cash handling, check handling, and identification.
8. Contributes to the branch meeting sales goals by asking questions, listening to members’ needs and offering solutions to the member. Responsible for structuring loan applications, working with underwriters and adhering to all lending policies and regulations.
9. Makes outbound calls to members when available.
10. Builds member relationships by recognizing their financial needs and meeting those needs with the appropriate GreenState product and service or referring them to the specialized department (Wealth Management, Commercial, Mortgage, GreenState Insurance etc.) to be served.
11. Participates in promotions, contests, and other departmental activities which support team goals.
12. Responsible for sales of loan protection products.
13. Possesses a thorough knowledge of all federal regulations and procedures concerning deposits.
14. Plays a vital role in enriching the community by participating in community service organizations and/or Credit Union sponsored events.

1. Must have at least one year of similar or related experience or 12 months in an MSR role with knowledge of all credit union accounts and products.
2. Proven ability to handle a wide variety of functions quickly and accurately. Must be self-motivated, exercise sound judgment, and be able to work independently. Ability to maintain composure, and problem solve as they arise.
3. Possess sales and communication and interpersonal skills to represent the credit union in a positive and professional manner.
4. Must demonstrate good time management skills to meet established deadlines including the ability to prioritize work assignments and organize work efficiently.
5. Proven relationship building skills and techniques including the ability to develop and maintain positive and effective working relationships.
6. Ability to work with minimal direction and exercise sound judgment.
7. Must have a reliable vehicle for travel to multiple locations, must have a valid driver's license and proper insurance.
8. Able to work a flexible schedule potentially including Saturday hours.
9. High school diploma or the equivalent (i.e. GED).
10. Proficiency with related computer applications, spreadsheets, word processing, and database applications.
11. Must be bondable.
12. Must be registered pursuant to requirements of the S.A.F.E Act.

Reports to the SVP Regional or Branch Manager as assigned.

This position is not responsible for the supervision of others.
