Youth and Teen Programs is hiring for 3 people for this position. The summer season of the UW Continuum College Youth and Teen Program (YTP) runs Monday–Friday, July 1 – August 23, 2024. Approximately 55-60 youth classes (mixture of online and in-person) will run over 8 weeks serving approximately 1200 school-aged youth, 4th-12th grades. The YTP Coordinator will support both online and in-person classes, with an emphasis on in-person classes held on the UW campus. The YTP Coordinator serves as the face of the program to students, parents and staff as well as the UW community at large. Coordinator works in conjunction with the YTP Director and Program Administrators maintaining daily operations of the program. This seasonal position begins on a part-time basis in spring transitioning to full time in late June and concluding in late August. YTP coordinator must be able to work effectively under pressure and tight timelines, track complex operations and have demonstrated skill in program administration. The Youth and Teen Program Coordinator is required to have up-to-date CPR/First Aid certification and complete all compliance training (for example, Safe Interactions with Youth, Reporting Abuse and Neglect, etc.). This temporary staff position rate is: $25-$30 an hour.
