    UW Medical Center - Montlake has a leadership opportunity for our Level IV Neonatal ICU. We are looking for someone who is interested in growing their career as an Assistant Nurse Manager.

    Primary Job Responsibilities:
  • Lead clinical practice, education, and management as delegated by and in collaboration with the nurse manager.
  • Promote delivery of quality nursing care.
  • Clinical resources for patient care and staff competency.
  • Education, supervision, mentorship, and evaluation of staff.
  • Assist with ongoing unit daily operations.
  • Support staff with orientation, evaluation, clinical problem solving, communication, and collaboration with the interdisciplinary team,
  • Support to the unit management team for the assurance of clinical workforce ongoing development and retention.

    Schedule
  • 90%, night shift-(36 hrs./week) .

    Requirements
  • Have/obtain a WA RN license to practice.
  • Two or more years of NICU nursing experience.
  • Charge nurse.
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing or enrolled in a BSN program.
  • Graduated from an accredited school of nursing.
  • Experience can subsite for required education.
