TITLE OF POSITION: Support Staff

SUPERVISOR: Director of Operational Support and Training

WORK SCHEDULE:

 

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Ÿ High school diploma or equivalency certificate

Ÿ Ability to relate well with people in person and on the phone

Ÿ One year experience in an office environment involving data entry experience

Ÿ Ability to work under pressure and to meet multiple, concurrent deadlines

Ÿ Demonstrated skills working with relevant computers programs required

Ÿ Work independently as well as be a productive member of a team

Ÿ Dependable vehicle, valid driver’s license, and compliance with agency’s liability carrier’s requirements may be required depending on job assignment

Ÿ Basic proficiency in math

 

GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES: Maintain an effective knowledge and provide support, through the Operational Support Department, of Four County Mental Health Center’s programs, staff roles and functions, policies and procedures, forms and their application.

 

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

1. Use Electronic Health Record to process/enter referrals, update patient information, and com-plete Clinical and associated documentation. Maintain supporting spreadsheets and prepare re-ports as requested. Follow up with staff as needed.

2. Prepare monthly documentation for staff to report patient information and enter into Electronic Health Record in order to process AIMS. Follow up as needed with staff supplying this information to meet deadlines.

3. Work at front desk as needed including operating the Center’s telephone system, copier, fax machine, process mail, and complete staff requests. Make reminder calls as assigned by location. Greet visitors by utilizing a customer service approach when interacting with patients and staff.

4. Work with internal and external customers to maximize service delivery. Complete other requests including copying, supply requests, mailings, and opening/closing duties.

5. Serves as primary support staff point of contact for all Non-English speaking clients at the applicable location/service area.

6. Exhibit and promote decisions / behavior consistent with the Center’s established Vision, Mission, and Values.

 

OTHER JOB FUNCTIONS:

· Any deviations to the work schedule and all overtime must be approved in advance.

· Other duties as assigned by Supervisor.
