What will you do with Premier Construction & Design?

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Facilitate meetings with both small and large clients to assess their space planning and design needs
  • Visualize client’s business needs, create and articulate architectural space plan designs.
  • Ability to create complete design-build construction drawings in both AutoCAD and Revit for interior build-out projects.
  • Manage the client, team, and project coordination on your assigned projects, in most cases full drawing documentation. 
  • Participate in Business Development, writing proposals and the interview process.
  • Mentor and guide project team members.
  • Prepare for team and client meetings and presentations.
  • Preparation of graphics and 3D renderings
  • Work with construction team as projects transition to construction
  • Field measuring
  • Miscellaneous administrative duties as required

 

Qualifications

Requirements

  • 6-10 years of experience with an architectural or interiors firm
  • Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Interior Architecture or Architecture from an accredited college/university
  • Strong space planning skills on large projects a must
  • Highly proficient in Revit and AutoCAD
  • Strong rendering ability - Photoshop, Illustrator, Revit
  • A proficient level of experience in the use of InDesign, Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel.
  • Detail oriented, creative, self-motivated, and flexible
  • Ability to take direction and collaborate with a team
  • Strong ability to juggle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. 
  • Strong understanding of finishes and furniture systems
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to listen to a client and their needs
  • Interest in construction documentation and completing projects from concept through construction
  • Ability to stand behind your work and sell it
  • Capable of traveling to and from client meetings

 

When submitting your resume please include several work samples illustrating your space planning and construction documentation abilities in Revit & AutoCAD, as well as, your presentation skills in Photoshop. Please be prepared to bring a portfolio for review and work samples in both a hard copy and .dwg/.rvt format on a flash drive to an interview.
