Behavioral Strategist - ICF/ID - Full-Time
Summary
Under the direction of the ICF/ID
Program Coordinator:
- Identifies and documents maladaptive behavioral issues/concerns through observation of residents and review of individual records, in addition to the accumulation, summarization, and review of relevant data as necessary
- Develops, implements, and monitors ICF/ID programs to decrease maladaptive behaviors
- Reviews, demonstrates, and instructs appropriate team members in the implementation and documentation of established behavioral programs and intervention strategies
- Assists with the general supervision of the unit in compliance with protocols established by the care center
Qualifications / Requirements
- Psychology / human services-related degree or a minimum of two (2) years of supervisory experience working with the intellectually disabled, utilizing behavior management strategies and techniques
- Must possess outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
- Per the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS), COVID-19 vaccination is required, with exceptions for medical and religious accommodations when reasonable
Job Type: Full-Time
Shift: 1st Shift or 2nd Shift, Flexible Scheduling
Wage Range*: $17.00/hr-$18.00/hr, Negotiable (DOE)
Years of Experience Incentive Pay: $0.10/per year, up to ten (10) years
