Job Description: |
Need 4 full time, temporary, seasonal Ag. Equipment Operators to work in East Grand Forks, MN. From: 4/15/2025 - 5/24/2025 Work: 40 hrs./week, Mon.-Fri. 8 hrs./day. 7:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. In MN, All hours worked in excess of 48 hours in a work week will be paid at the rate of time and a half. Effective Jan 1, 2024, per MN State Statute, an employee will earn one hour of paid sick and safe time for every 30 hours worked, up to at least 48 hours of accrued Earned Sick and Safe Time (ESST) per year, provided the employee works a minimum of 80 hours in a calendar year.

JOB DESCRIPTION: Essential Duties for the Agricultural Equipment Operators include, but are not limited to the following: 1. Follow supervisor instructions always and arrive to work on time. 2. Conduct thorough and accurate pre-trip inspections on farm trucks. 3. Safe and correct operation of vehicles. Perform duties in accordance with established safety standards and proper vehicle operation techniques. 4. Safe and correct hook-up of trailers as needed. 5. Safely and correctly load/unload trailer with potato seed and tie down load as needed. 6. Correctly distribute potato seed in trailer. 7. Follow instructions to get to and from the field. 8. Deliver & pickup other farm related materials when necessary to field locations. 9. Maintain and care for tarps, ropes, and all other farm truck equipment. 10. Communicate with farm employees in a courteous, professional manner. 11. Participate in safety trainings, orientations and all other company meetings as required. 12. Report all injuries to supervisor immediately regardless of how slight they might seem. 13. When not operating the farm truck, employees will be required to participate in basic maintenance and cleaning of the trucks/trailers. All tools will be provided at no cost.
JOB REQUIREMENTS: Three (3) months experience in the duties listed. Able to lift 50 lbs. Repetitive movements, extensive pushing, and pulling, extensive walking, standing, bending and stooping will be required. Exposure to extreme temperatures. No minimum education required. Employees must be able to immediately obtain or already maintain a drivers license that allows them to operate a vehicle in the United States.
EMPLOYER ASSURANCES: Work guaranteed for 3/4 of contract period, starting with date of arrival at work site. Employer provides free housing for workers whose residence is beyond normal commuting distance; employer pays inbound transportation and subsistence to work site upon 50% completion of work contract for workers whose residence is beyond normal commuting distance. Daily subsistence will be provided at a rate of at least $15.88 per day during travel to a maximum of $59.00 per day with receipts. Required work-related tools, equipment and supplies provided free of charge by employer.
