Pouch Making Lead Machine Operator

2nd shift Monday through Friday 2p - 10:30p
3rd shift Sunday through Thursday 10p - 6:30a

Position summary: Working shift lead for pouch making equipment. You will be expected to give direction and monitor pouch making operators. You will need to make adjustments to your machine to insure product quality. You will need to perform all quality testing for the pouch making process, comply with the manufacturing schedule while maintaining a safe and orderly workplace. You will need to effectively communicate with your team as well as the other shifts.

* Previous experience running and setting production machinery

Success factors/job competencies:
* Report to work on scheduled days, on time
* Perform all daily duties in a safe manner
* Continuously supply, operate, and respond to assigned pouch machine
* Maintain cleanliness of assigned pouch machine and area
* Maintain an Average of 75% efficiency on assigned pouch machine
* Produces and identify quality parts in accordance with company specifications
* Maintain scrap at 4.5% on assigned pouch machine
* Teamwork, trustworthy, and responsible
* Meet all company KPI's (Key Performance Indicators)

Physical demands and work environment:
* Physical demands: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to walk, use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls: reach with hands and arms; balance; stoop; talk or hear. Employee must be able to lift and/or move up to 70 lbs. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.
* Work environment: While performing the duties of this job the employee is/or may be exposed to high noise levels that require hearing protection. Employee may also be required to wear safety glasses and/or safety gloves.
