Manufacturing Welder & Machinist
1801 Theurer Blvd, Winona, MN 55987
Full-time Shift(s): MON TUE WED THU FRI 6:00am - 2:30pm
OVERVIEW:
Working as Manufacturing Welder & Machinist, you will weld and machine custom parts and setup and operate multiple pieces of equipment such as MIG Welders, TIG Welders, Turning Centers, Machining Centers, and various other pieces of manual equipment. The successful candidate must understand welding techniques and machine operation and capabilities of each of those machines.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
The duties and responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:
oSetting up fixturing to MIG and TIG weld parts to print
oLearning operation of robotic welder
oProviding assistance to other employees when needed
oPerforming accurate inspections on product
oRunning multiple pieces of equipment at the same time
REQUIRED POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:
The following skills and qualifications are required for this position:
o18 years of age or older, due to the nature of work
oExcellent written and oral communication skills
oProficient using Microsoft Office Suite
oDemonstrate strong math aptitude, attention to detail and sense of urgency
oDemonstrate strong organization, planning and prioritizing abilities
oWork independently as well as in a team environment
oExhibit strong problem solving, deductive reasoning and decision making skills
oLearn and perform multiple tasks in a fast paced environment
oDemonstrate our core values of ambition, innovation, integrity and teamwork
oLift, slide, carry and lower packages that typically weigh 25-50lbs and may weigh up to 100lbs
oPass the required drug screen (applicable in the US, Puerto Rico, and Guam ONLY)
PREFERRED POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:
oPossess knowledge of welding techniques in accordance with the latest AWS Code standard applying to GMAW, GTAW, and SMAW
oPossess a degree in machining OR prior machining experience
