The Electrical Engineering Intern position will offer you an exciting opportunity to learn about the day-to-day activities that consulting engineers are involved in and to lay the groundwork for a future career opportunity to create the "built environment" that will enable our clients to meet the needs of their customers.

Responsibilities



Work closely with different discipline teams in our domestic offices to develop calculations, engineering drawings, and reports.
Use a variety of software tools to design electrical systems and select power distribution, lighting, controls and instrumentation, and other equipment.
Function as a member of project team and will be exposed to different types of project work.
Work directly under the supervision of engineering design professionals.
Learn about the design functions involved with both small projects and large-scale and complex projects.






Qualifications



At least a junior standing in an accredited university in specified area of engineering.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Basic proficiency using Microsoft tools including MS Word, Outlook, and Excel.
AutoCAD and/or Revit experience preferred.
General computer knowledge and skills.
Availability to work during core business hours (9:00 AM to 4:00 PM M-F)
Drivers license preferred
