SOSi is seeking a highly qualified JCOFA Intelligence Analyst Lead to serve as the Government’s expert user of the JACOB database application.

Essential Job Duties

In addition to being proficient in the use of the JACOB application, understand JCOFA and JACOB specific terminology, be able to build and produce JACOB database complex queries, pull reports for JCOFA, understand Intelligence Community rules and how they apply to JCOFA and JACOB, experience with building, understand JCOFA and JACOB issues and how to troubleshoot daily issues within the program & database, and identify areas that are required for daily JCOFA & JACOB usage.

Minimum Requirements

  • Proficient in the use of an OB database application is defined as having a minimum of two years’ experience using the application and the demonstrated ability to build a futures OB database in the JACOB application by creating units, and adding weapons systems, equipment and personnel to the unit.)

  • Have a minimum of one year experience using all-source data to analyze foreign forces, equipment, and C3 systems, converting the analysis into database format, and providing narrative input explaining the logic behind the analysis.

  • Have experience running OB database application reports such as Top-Down Hierarchy, TO&E Roll-Up, Unit List, and customized (ad hoc) reports.

  • Experience with performing reviews of JCOFA products to ensure accuracy and completeness at various stages of JCOFA cycles.

  • Demonstrates in-depth knowledge and understanding of the labor category activities required to meet mission requirements.

  • Demonstrates ability to work independently and with minimal oversight.

  • Desired Experience: Minimum 12 years of experience related to the specific labor category with at least a portion of the experience within the last 2 years.

  • Desired Education: Master’s degree in an area related to the labor category from a college or university accredited by an agency recognized by the U.S. Department of Education; or have Bachelor’s degree related to the labor category from a college or university accredited by an agency recognized by the U.S. Department of Education and an additional 5 years of related senior experience, for a total of 17 years, as a substitute to the Master’s degree.
