    Senior Financial Analyst Position Overview:


    Reporting to the Finance Manager, the Senior Financial Analyst will play a critical role in delivering financial insights to drive informed business decisions. This position is responsible for budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and strategic analysis. As a Senior Financial Analyst, you will partner with cross-functional teams and leadership to identify opportunities to enhance business performance, optimize profitability, and manage financial risks.


    Key Responsibilities:


    Financial Planning & Analysis:

    • Develop and maintain complex financial models to support budgeting, forecasting, and long-term planning.
    • Analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial results to assess trends, variances, and key drivers of performance.
    • Provide actionable insights to senior leaders through data visualization and compelling presentations.

    Business Partnering:

    • Collaborate with departmental leaders to understand financial requirements and deliver decision-support tools.
    • Support business units by analyzing revenue streams, profitability, and cost control measures.
    • Lead efforts in annual budgeting and periodic forecasting by partnering with stakeholders across multiple functions.

    Reporting & Analysis:

    • Prepare and deliver accurate, timely, and impactful financial reports for senior management.
    • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and recommend strategies to improve financial and operational results.
    • Assist in preparing reports and presentations for board meetings, investor updates, and executive briefings.

    Process Optimization:

    • Identify areas for process improvement and automation in financial workflows to increase efficiency and accuracy.
    • Collaborate with IT, accounting, and other teams to enhance reporting systems and tools.

    Special Projects & Strategic Initiatives:

    • Assist in evaluating strategic business opportunities, including M& A deals, capital expenditure decisions, and market expansion initiatives.
    • Provide financial support for ad hoc projects and deep-dive analyses in response to emerging business needs.

    • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field. MBA, CFA, or CPA preferred.
    • 5+ years of experience in financial analysis, FP& A, or corporate finance, preferably in a mid-sized to large organization.
    • Superior financial modeling and data analysis skills, with expertise in Excel.
