UW Medical Centers Clinical Engineering has an outstanding opportunity for a Clinical Engineering Program Operations Manager.
WORK SCHEDULE POSITION HIGHLIGHTS 20,000 items of medical equipment authorities under the general direction of the department director. Failure to comply with these regulations has severe implications to patient safety and financial reimbursement for the hospital DEPARTMENT DESCRIPTION The Clinical Engineering Program Operations Manager manages and supervises assigned technical personnel and coordinates the operation of the Clinical Engineering department which is responsible for the maintenance and repair of general and specialized medical equipment. They are responsible for drafting the annual operational budget request excluding that for service contracts, for all operational aspects of the medical equipment scheduled maintenance program and providing direct maintenance support of Medical Equipment and related systems including project planning, project management, technician training, and user training.
