Job Description:
In this hands-on position, the Human Resources (HR) Intern will gain a better understanding of a Human Resources department by assisting in a variety of areas; including HR Administration, Talent Acquisition, Compliance, Benefits, Engagement, and other general areas within Human Resources. The HR Intern will complete a HR-related project and share finding with leadership at the conclusion of the internship. This internship presents an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to gain practical experience in the field of Human Resources within a dynamic organization. The intern will also have opportunities to network with all other departments within the organization.



Internship Term: Summer 2024; 29.5 hours/week; On-site



ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

1. HR Administration - Support Human Resources team with various administrative tasks as needed such as making copies, scanning, filing, data entry etc.
2. Talent Acquisition - Assist with onboarding and offboarding team members by creating new hire packets, partnering with IT for equipment delivery/collection, etc.
3. Compliance - Perform duties associated with regulatory compliance such as analyzing, auditing, compiling, tracking, and updating data.
4. Benefits - Perform benefits research on best practices, generate new ideas and help promote wellness initiatives. Support Benefits Analysts as needed.
5. Engagement - Assist in the communication, planning and execution of various employee engagement and/or wellness events.
6. General - Provide project and research support; meet with various departments to gain a broader understanding of the organization and its initiatives in relation to Human Resources.
