We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as an IT Project Coordinator. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in facilitating the successful execution of IT projects by coordinating various tasks, resources, and stakeholders. This position requires a blend of technical expertise, project management skills, and effective communication abilities.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with project managers to create detailed project plans, outlining tasks, timelines, and milestones
- Develop and maintain project schedules, ensuring that all project activities align with the overall project goals
- Coordinate with internal teams and external vendors to allocate resources effectively.
- Track resource utilization and availability, adjusting plans as needed to ensure optimal project performance
- Identify potential risks and issues related to project delivery and proactively work with the team to develop mitigation strategies
- Maintain a risk register and escalate critical issues to the project manager as needed
Job Requirements:
- 3+ years of experience in an IT Project Coordinator role
- Experience with Agile or other project management methodologies.
- Proficiency in project management tools such as Jira, Asana, or Microsoft Project.
- High-level understanding of key areas of the project management methodology
- Proven ability to manage internal and external development projects from inception to successful implementation
- Determines and defines project scope and objectives
- Identifies efficient work breakdown structure for the project
- Coordinates across dependent working teams to hit project milestones
