Position Summary
The UNC Division of Nephrology and Hypertension is currently seeking a pediatric clinician educator or clinician researcher as Pediatric Assistant Professor to join 5 current FTE pediatric faculty members. Interested candidates should expect to help support our clinical outreach mission in multidisciplinary settings. With access to comprehensive resources within our extensive internal laboratory facilities and opportunities to work with on-going external collaborators, qualified applicants will have a supportive environment to cultivate QI, educational, basic, clinical, or translational science research studies.
Minimum Education and Experience Requirements
MD and BC/BE in Internal Medicine and Nephrology.
Preferred Qualifications, Competencies, and Experience
Care of pediatric patients with chronic kidney disease, especially those with end-stage renal disease. Inpatient and emergency room nephrology consultation, including hemodialysis and continuous dialysis procedures.
