You Are:

UST is looking for a talented and Business System Analyst for one of the leading healthcare providers in the United States. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a growing environment. The ideal candidate must have strong skills in Pega development and Testing at the same time be able to put their creative hat in a problem-solving environment. Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with domain experts and IT leadership team is key to be successful in this role.

The Opportunity:


Manages integrated functionality, usability, reliability, performance and support requirements of a system.
Creates feature test strategies and environment needs.
Provides the link between the technical and business views of the system by ensuring that the technical solutions being developed will satisfy the needs of the business.
Applies and mentors use of tools to define requirements.
Anticipates and identifies opportunities for improvement.
Ensures high level designs including architecture requirements are accurately documented and map to approved requirements.
Assists in developing training documentation and proactive identification of additional documentation needs.
Coordination with Customer SMEs, IT Managers, Offshore and the onsite team for Business requirement gathering/Use cases and document.
Document high level business/ process flows
Coordinate with the Testing team and ensure the application is defect free, before the code move to production.
Coordination with other teams for application integration
Coordinate for the smooth system integration testing and user acceptance testing.
Perform process inventory and prioritization following the BPM methodology.
Execute the Process Discovery phases, address the goals and create the deliverables following the Pega.
Discover, define, analyze, improve, and model a process in Pega process flows.
Identify the business case, requirements and key opportunities.
Define the business level of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
Understand the functionalities and capabilities of Pega Process flows for delivering executable BPM processes.

This position description identifies the responsibilities and tasks typically associated with the performance of the position. Other relevant essential functions may be required.

What you need:


Requires a basic understanding of testing/product quality processes, tools and methods and an understanding or organizational impacts and trade-offs of quality processes.
Understanding of Native development and Java are preferred
Knowledge of Rational Tools, project management experience and training in facilitation preferred.
Knowledge of a variety of technologies and/or the ability to understand technology dependencies and manage technology integration required
Experience working within health insurance industry.
Experience/exposure in JIRA & Confluence
Experience/exposure in Agile & SAFe
Experience/exposure with APIs
Experience/exposure in Postman
Zeplin Experience is a plus
The ability to visualize and create high-level models that can be used in future analysis to extend and mature the business architecture
Team player able to work effectively at all levels of an organization with the ability to influence others to move toward consensus
Strong situational analysis and decision-making abilities

Compensation can differ depending on factors including but not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, education, and level of experience. As required by local law, UST provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in California, Colorado, New York, or Washington as set forth below.

Role Location: Remote

Compensation Range: $68,000-$102,000

Our full-time, regular associates are eligible for 401K matching, and vacation accrual and are covered from day 1 for paid sick time, healthcare, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance benefits. Depending on the role, some associates may also be eligible for stock options.
