What the Wood Shop Assembler will do:
Maintain workflow, quality control, and shop organization
Wrap various parts for shipping
Prepare work by studying assembly instructions, blueprint specifications, and parts lists
Gather parts, subassemblies, tools, and materials
Position parts and subassemblies by using templates or reading measurements
Assemble components by examining connections for correct fit
Maintain supplies inventory by checking stock to determine inventory level
Place and expedite orders for supplies
Verify receipt of supplies and document actions by completing production and quality forms
What you need to be a Wood Shop Assembler:
Experience operating hand and power tools
Ability to accurately read a tape measure
Construction, woodworking, or similar experience preferred
Experience operating a forklift
Previous warehouse experience
Excellent problem-solving skills #worknow |
