About the role

Job Description

Primary Skills:

1.      Minimum of 8 years in mobile application development, with expertise in both Native and Hybrid Mobile Applications, primarily focused on Android using Kotlin, Android Studio, Android Development Tools, Android SDK, and UI Frameworks, along with unit test frameworks.

2.      Proficient in communicating with peripheral devices via Bluetooth, NFC, RFID, WiFi, and other communication mechanisms.

3.      Proficient in programming and unit test writing skills in Kotlin, Java and Swift for native application development, ensuring adherence to cybersecurity coding requirements and standards.

4.      Expertise in Enterprise Mobile application development.

5.      Proficient in app release management through Continuous Integration & Continuous Delivery (CI/CD), including building, testing, and distributing/publishing apps to TestFlight, App Store, and Google Play store, while meeting compliance requirements.

6.      Capable of organizing large-scale front-end mobile application codebases using common mobile design patterns.

7.      Exposure to iOS native app development using Swift.

8.      Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

9.      Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.

Desired:

• User interface design experience.
• Knowledge of cross-platform/hybrid mobile app development frameworks such as Xamarin, React Native, Flutter and others.
• Familiarity with various tools such as Xcode, App code, SwiftUI, and software development methodologies like Agile, TDD (Test-driven development), etc.

• Conducts and coordinates moderately complex tests for control and diagnostic systems that contain logical and mathematical solutions.
• Conducts multidisciplinary research in assisting equipment designers in the planning, design, development, and utilization of electronic data processing systems for product and commercial software to develop software engineering activities.
• Analyzes system capabilities and determines end user needs to resolve problems on program intent, output requirements and input data acquisition to ensure current and future needs of the business are met.

Minimum Requirements
Requires advanced knowledge obtained through a University degree, combined with experience
Practical to substantial knowledge of Carrier organization, programs or systems with the ability to make enhancements and leverage in daily work
University Degree or equivalent
A minimum of 5 years prior relevant experience
OR
An advanced degree in a related field and a minimum of 3 years experience
