As a Dynamics 365 (D365) Platform and Certificate Administrator at Octo, you will also be responsible for managing the certificates and user provisioning for the CRM platform and other related applications, following enterprise governance policies and procedures.

Program Mission…
The Digital Transformation Center (DTC) supports Veterans Affairs (VA) with onboarding and maintaining enterprise SaaS and PaaS solutions used to support the mission of serving our Veterans and their associated stakeholders. We are digitizing information and processes for improved implementation, leveraging modern tools and low code/no code for reusability and faster delivery.
Responsibilities…
- Manage and renew the certificates for the CRM platform and other related applications, using tools such as Kudu, Azure Portal, Venafi, and Power Platform Admin Center.
- Manage and provision the user accounts and roles for multiple D365 applications across the enterprise.
- Implement and enforce the security policies and best practices for the CRM platform and the certificates, ensuring compliance with the enterprise governance standards and regulations.
- Collaborate with the enterprise governance team and other IT teams and stakeholders to ensure alignment and coordination of the CRM platform with the enterprise strategy and objectives and compliance with government regulations.
- Stay updated on the latest features and updates of the Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM platform and the certificate and user provisioning tools, and evaluate and adopt them as needed.
- Experience with the following applications in addition to D365 and the required Power Platform Admin Center expertise: Venafi, DigiCert, Kudu, Azure App Services
Years of Experience:
- 5 years of experience in managing and administering Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM, preferably in a large enterprise utilizing multiple environments.
- Comprehensive understanding of the Power Platform Admin Center.
- At least 3 years of experience in managing and renewing certificates and provisioning user accounts and roles.
Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent applicable experience.
Location: Remote within the United States.
Clearance: Ability to obtain government clearance.
Required Technical and Professional Expertise
- Bachelor’s degree or related field, or equivalent work experience.
- At least 5 years of experience in managing and administering Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM, preferably in a large enterprise utilizing multiple environments.
- Comprehensive understanding of the Power Platform Admin Center.
- At least 3 years of experience in managing and renewing certificates and provisioning user accounts and roles.
- Strong knowledge of the Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM platform and its features, functionalities, and integrations.
- Strong knowledge of the certificate and user provisioning tools and processes, and the enterprise governance standards and regulations for web applications.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and quality.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM certification and/or Microsoft Certificate Services certification are preferred.
- Experience in a government agency a plus.
- Clearance: Ability to obtain government clearance.
