Summary:

The Outside Sales Representative represents All-Phase Electric to potential new and existing customers. The primary focus of this role is to build lasting relationships with these partners while maintaining and growing market share. In this role, the Outside Sales Representative serves as the face of the company to their customers and will be expected to take complete ownership of their accounts while providing unmatched customer service. This role serves as a member of the overall All-Phase Electric team and will need to build strong relationships with their colleagues in order to serve our partners to the best of our ability.

Reports to: Profit Center Manager

Minimum Qualifications:

· Extensive, demonstrable knowledge of electrical products and their functions

· Minimum 3 years sales experience

· Ability to travel and make sales calls at customer locations

· Ability to comprehend, read, and communicate in English both orally and in writing

· Valid driver’s license and a driving record that meets CED required standards

· Math skills including calculating percentages, decimals, and discount multipliers

Preferred Qualifications:

The ideal candidate has proven themselves as a successful resource in the electrical or electrical distribution industry.

Working Conditions:

Conditions vary based on the customer location and may include construction, warehouse, manufacturing, office, or external environments. Some activities may include walking, standing, climbing in various conditions including extreme heat or cold. Essential functions will require travel to customer locations. When not in front of customers, the Outside Sales Representative will be expected to maintain a presence in the All-Phase Electric office.

· Develop lasting relationships with new and existing customers

· Research and analyze the local market, analyze customer potential, and determine target accounts

· Learn customer needs and expectations by asking questions and understanding the applications in order to make product recommendations

· Provide information to maximize sales while providing value through All-Phase Electric's various services
