3D Designer

Position Overview
Our Agency Client is seeking a talented 3D Designer to create visually stunning and innovative 3D models and environments. The ideal candidate will have a passion for design and a strong understanding of the latest design software and technology, contributing to the development of engaging visual experiences.

• Freelance
• Up to 40 hours per week
• Hybrid in the Hell's Kitchen Neighborhood, NYC 
• Starts: Within the next few weeks
• Duration: 4 to 6 Months 

Key Responsibilities

• Develop 3D concepts, layouts, and designs that align with creative briefs and brand narratives.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure design consistency and quality.
• Produce high-quality sketches, design intent drawings, and technical documentation to communicate ideas effectively.
• Create quality comprehensive technical drawing packages, using Vectorworks, including plans, elevations and detailing.
• Create high-quality renders and real-time visualizations ideally using Unreal Engine for rendering with either Rhino or Cinema 4D for modelling.
• Translate concepts into animations or interactive walkthroughs, bringing designs to life.
• Work with 2D designers and motion specialists to integrate graphic elements into 3D environments.
• Revise designs based on feedback and ensure final products meet project requirements

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a 3D Designer or similar role
• Proficiency in 3D design software including Rhino or Cinema 4D, Vectorworks, and Unreal Engine
• Strong portfolio showcasing 3D design and environmental design projects
• Excellent attention to detail and creative problem-solving skills
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage multiple projects effectively

In this position, you may have access to client or customer systems, confidential and/or proprietary information or data. This position is onsite and requires you to work closely with other individuals in a collaborative team environment.
