Experience: Five or more years in a finishing environment.
Product Knowledge: Understanding of product chemistry and compatibility.
Color Matching: Ability to color match different types of finishes.
Finishing Techniques: Experience applying finishes using various techniques, including but not limited to hand, spray and dipping.
Leadership: Previous leadership experience.
Skills: Artistic, creative, verbal and written communication.
Problem Solving: Strength in problem-solving and critical decision-making.
Fixture Assembly: Knowledge of fixture assembly and construction.
Quality Standards: Ability to understand and meet client quality expectations.
Print Reading: Ability to read shop drawings.

Who We’re Looking For:
We are seeking a passionate and skilled team lead in wood and metal finishing who is eager to combine their creativity, artistry, and leadership abilities. In this role, you will be instrumental in developing and implementing processes to achieve the custom finishes and exceptionally high standards that our clients expect and appreciate.
The Details:
Creative Finishing: Use your artistic skills to prepare and finish wood and metal products, achieving the desired results with various products and processes.
Leadership: Direct the Finishing Room team with clear communication and support. Collaborate with managers and other leads throughout the organization.
Schedule Management: Monitor the Ship Schedule and Weekly Load List to ensure timely completion of work.
Process Improvement: Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and quality.
Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with EPA, OSHA, and other regulations.
Safety: Foster a positive and proactive safety environment and support safety initiatives.
Documentation: Develop, document, and maintain records for finish recipes.
Quality Control: Review finished product to ensure quality and conformance to customer specifications.
Maintenance: Understand and ensure proper maintenance of Finish Room equipment.
Inventory Management: Maintain finishing supply levels in accordance with needs of the department.
