Position Summary
The Master Teacher will direct the development and implementation of the
classroom environment in the facilitation of the cognitive,
social-emotional, physical, language, and communication development of
the children within the program. This position will provide supervision and
mentorship to teaching team members by modeling best practices in an inclusive
setting based on the mission and philosophy of the Center in coordination with
Center's Leadership and Administrative Teams.
The incumbent will direct the development of a classroom plan for
curriculum, individual child planning, and family communication. It is the
duty of the Master Teacher to work in collaboration with fellow teachers and
administrative staff to carry out all responsibilities to the best of their
ability and exercise their best judgement as they prioritize, delegate and
execute tasks.
