Scranton Craftsmen is seeking self-motivated candidates to join our welding/fabricating team.

Candidates should possess solid welding skills in MIG and TIG welding and have the ability to execute work from shop drawings. Knowledge on how to operate a brake and shear is a plus, however, we are willing to train a passionate applicant.

Responsibilities:

--Welding fabrication and assembly of metal structures and equipment through the use of welders, cutters, shapers and measuring tools.

-- Produce metal products according to customer or employer specifications. Use multiple welding machines to repair and maintain metal equipment and structures of various sizes.

--Able to read and interpret diagrams, sketches and blueprints to determine operations, required materials and time-frames for projects.

--Set up, operate and maintain welding equipment. --Understand and implement personal and company safety measures by wearing specialized goggles, helmets and gloves.

--Communication skills are essential to work with team members and converse with customers and clients.

This position is Monday-Friday with possible overtime available. We offer a good starting salary with benefits and room for advancement.
