Job Summary



We anticipate closing this position to new applicants on April 10th.
Leading at the intersection of strategy, execution, and creative, the Marketing Manager for Web and Technology will develop, implement, and execute strategic plans to effectively use and grow the university's marketing technology stack to accomplish marketing objectives-to grow enrollment, extend reach and reputation, and create a best-in-class marketing operation.





Responsibilities



Project management
Create strategies and project plans.
Provide leadership to team members.
Contribute personally to ensure projects meet defined goals, are within budget, and delivered on time.
Team management
Provide direct supervision to assigned team members, focusing on ensuring their success and professional development.
Performance analysis
Analyze performance data to evaluate the success of marketing efforts and come up with new ideas to improve effectiveness and increase ROI.






Required Skills



Knowledge of marketing strategies, channels, and branding.
Fluent with the technologies required to be effective in marketing and provide strategic leadership (e.g. Salesforce, Cascade CMS, Google Analytics, HotJar, Wufoo, Slack, etc.).
Highly organized and detailed.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects at once.
Combination of experience, knowledge, and skills necessary to develop, implement, and execute marketing strategies.
Analytical skills to measure marketing performance and make adjustments as necessary.
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with senior leaders, colleagues, direct reports, external stakeholders, and vendors.
Represent the marketing team to university partners and external vendors.
Superb leadership ability-bringing out the best in direct reports and achieving high results.
Solid understanding of design principles and writing styles.
Ability to think creatively and innovate to solve problems.






Experience



Required Experience:
5+ years of experience in marketing, advertising, and/or public relations.
Experience leading cross-functional teams of direct and/or indirect reports.
Preferred Experience:
5+ years of experience in marketing, advertising, and/or public relations.
Experience leading cross-functional teams of direct and/or indirect reports.
Experience in higher education or an agency.






Education



Required Education:
Bachelor's degree.
Preferred Education:
Bachelor's degree in a related field.
Master's degree.






Additional Information



Occasional nights and weekends may be required.
Must be able to sit at a computer for extended periods of time.
