Experience must also include the following: Agile Testing environment; SQL; documentation; Atlassian suite of tools (JIRA, Confluence, and HipChat); Java; Webdriver IO, Cypress, Cucumber, Postman, insomnia, Jest, Mocha, Enzyme, Selenium, webdriver (TestNg framework), Autoit, Spock, GITHUB, Confluence, JIRA, React, JavaScript, Java, REST API, and Agile; designing and developing testing frameworks for frontend and backend applications; integrating automated testing frameworks into CICD for non-prod environments; and collaborating with teams to add business test cases to improve test coverage and reliability of software. Chewy, Inc. seeks a Software Engineer II at our Minneapolis, MN location to serve as a member of Chewy’s Pet Health Tech team. While working within an Agile environment, work with Developers, Product Managers and Designers to identify proper and effective testing strategies, beginning in the planning phases of a feature. Analyze technical and business requirements to design develop web applications and automated testing frameworks of high quality test cases with a focus on requirements coverage across all platforms. Develop automated test cases across frontend web applications and backend APIs. Analyze platform scalability requirements, define and execute load testing strategies to ensure the platform meets future performance and reliability requirements. Perform test execution and report high quality, repeatable defect reports using JIRA. Monitor existing defects and bring them to closure. Play a major role in championing the importance in quality improvement across all areas of the SDLC. Analyze test results and understand the root cause of defects. Telecommuting permitted up to 4 days per week.
