The Senior Director of Marketing Technology is responsible for leading the vision, strategy, and defining requirements for the marketing technology solutions that support the business goals and objectives of the marketing and segment organizations. The position will serve as the Business/Product owner of our Marketing Technologies with a heavy focus in the short-term on unifying our enterprise website experience and guiding our global product hierarchy and product data architecture. This role will require strong collaboration and partnership with our business segment marketing and IT/Digital leaders for the implementation elements as well as other key functional stakeholders to align on prioritization, integration, optimization and utilization of marketing technology platforms and processes.
WHAT YOU WILL EXPERIENCE IN THIS POSITION:

Define the business and marketing requirements (the what) for new marketing technology opportunities and solutions, while working closely with our IT/Digital team (the how) to ensure build-out, fit, compliance and feasibility.

Oversee the effort to unify and optimize our nVent website to best enable our B2B customer buying journey, through easy navigation, product selectors, configurator tools and market places to ensure the best value and performance of marketing technology investments.

Lead the marketing technology team and colleagues, providing expert guidance, coaching, and feedback to foster a culture of collaboration and customer-centricity.

Establish and maintain best practices and standards for marketing technology governance, architecture, PIM data quality, and performance.

Collaborate with our Digital/IT team to ensure implementation, integration, and maintenance of marketing technology platforms and tools, ensuring scalability, reliability, and functionality.

Coordinate the scheduling and execution of product releases and deployments in collaboration with our Digital/IT team, considering dependencies, potential risks, and resource limitations, with a focus on user acceptance testing.

Monitor and measure the effectiveness and impact of marketing technology solutions, using data and analytics to optimize and improve marketing performance and ROI.

Collaborate and communicate with internal and external stakeholders, including senior management, marketing, sales, IT, and agencies, to ensure alignment and coordination of marketing technology initiatives and projects.
YOU HAVE:

Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, IT, or related field. Master's degree preferred.

Minimum of 12+ years of domain experience in marketing technology and user experience including 5+ years of team leadership experience.
