Job Description:
City of Lima, Ohio, is searching for a full-time Assistant City Prosecutor for the Lima Municipal Court. No outside practice of law permitted.
Compensation:
- Salary range of $65,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year, depending on experience.

Work Hours:
- Full-Time
- Monday-Friday
- 8 AM – 5 PM
Typical prosecution duties include:
- Negotiating cases and plea agreements
- Conducting bench and jury trials
- Preparing and presenting motions, pleadings, and arguments in court and for appeals
- Interviewing witnesses, Police Officers, victims, and others
Position Requirements:
- Criminal Trial experience preferred but not necessary.
- Will consider newly admitted attorneys.
- Functional knowledge of Lexis and Microsoft Office programs required.
- Valid license to practice law in the state of Ohio
