Description/Job Summary

Schedule: Monday - Friday 7:00a.m. - 4:00p.m., including call-outs, nights, weekends, and 12 hours days during harvest.

Job Duties include construction and maintenance activities on equipment and structures at facilities used to store, dry and mill rice products. These activities may include but are not limited to, millwright work, welding/cutting/fabrication of steel, equipment demolition and repair, and concrete construction. Successful applicants should be aware of construction site safety rules and able to contribute in a team based work environment.


Basic Qualifications

  • Must possess skills to cut, weld, and operate machinery such as forklifts and sky tracks.
  • Must possess extensive skills in hand and power tools.
  • Must be willing to lift up to 110 lbs.
  • Must be willing to bend, stoop, twist, turn, push, pull, and crawl throughout the day.
  • Must be willing and to ride man-lifts.
  • Must be willing to climb to and work at heights up to 200 feet.
  • Must be willing to tolerate working in hot and cold temperatures for extended periods of time.
  • Must be willing to travel out of town for extended periods of time.
  • Must be available for call outs at all times during harvest and able to respond within 35 minutes.
  • Must be able to do basic math (add, subtract, multiply and divide), and read a tape measure.
  • Must be at least 21 years of age and have a valid driver's license to drive a company vehicle.
  • Must read, write, speak, and understand the English language fluently.
  • Construction, millwright, and/or industrial maintenance experience preferred.
  • General concrete and electrical experience preferred.
