The Customer Service Representative answers incoming calls from customers to receive and take orders. They address inquiries, field questions, handle complaints, and troubleshoot problems.
General Duties
- Communicate with customers by phone, email, and mail to ensure the best service
- Answer customer questions regarding products, services, or operations
- Receive and process orders
- Provide pricing, services changes, and shipping details
- Work with vendors to confirm orders are filled per required specifications
- Answer client questions, investigate complaints, and correct errors using record files
- Refer service complaints to appropriate departments for investigation
