Job Description

 
FT: Special Education Preschool Teacher, Sinclairville Our philosophy is "Learn through play!" The special education teacher will instruct children aged 3-5 in an integrated or 8:1:1 classroom setting to accomplish their individual and group goals while at preschool. The special education preschool teacher will work with a classroom aide, any assigned 1:1 aide(s), and therapy providers both in and out of the classroom to comply with the childrens' needs as dictated on their IEPs. The special education preschool teacher will abide by the New York State Education Department code of ethics. Must have a NYSED Teaching Certificate that includes Nursery or Birth Grade 2 and preferably Students with Disability extension. The program itself encompasses 3 locations throughout Chautauqua County, (Fredonia, Sinclairville, Jamestown), with 9 classrooms. This is a 12 month position, (school year and 6 week summer session). Starting pay negotiable depending on experience as well as a SIGN ON BONUS. Benefits such as health, dental, and vision insurance, 401K, paid time off, etc. Subject to employer medical exam, reference check and criminal background check required.
