Job Objective: This job requires the day-to-day technical support for on-going projects.
Essential Job Functions:
- To assist the Area Operations manager in overseeing jobs.
- To maintain job board, jobs to bid board and weekly job schedule.
- To inform Controller of potential jobs for ordering bid packages.
- To complete bid checklist and gather information.
- To prepare and deliver bid packages.
- To attend pre-bid and pre-construction meetings.
- To hold internal pre-construction meetings.
- To prepare coding and quantity project sheets for Foreman.
- To issue PO's for construction materials.
- To be responsible for correspondence between owners and contractors during the course of contract.
- To review contracts and subcontracts.
- To give contracts and subcontracts to Contract Administrator.
- To provide project quantities to Contract Administrator for monthly billing/invoicing.
- To set up jobs.
- To review monthly AP for jobs to ensure accurate quantities and prices.
- To update project schedules.
- To field customer, employee and third party complaints.
- To report complaints, accidents and incidents to Construction Superintendent.
- To attend all mandatory meetings.
BACHELORS DEGREE IN CONSTRUCTION MANAGEMENT PREFERRED BUT PRIOR EXPERIENCE WILL BE CONSIDERED IN APPLICANT SELECTION PROCESS.
