JOB TITLE: Software Engineer
LOCATION: 11000 Optum Circle, Eden Prairie, MN 55344 (Telecommuting available from anywhere in the U.S.)
DUTIES: Research, design, and develop software solutions and software applications or specialized utility programs. Duties include: Design, develop, configure, and implement software applications, servers, packages, and components customized to meet specific need and requirements; engage as a scrum team member in all agile mechanisms; review, analyze, develop/modify and complete user stories within definition of done, on time within original estimates; decompose stories into manageable tasks and provides estimates; responsible for all aspects of deliverable (detailed code design, coding, unit and integration test, automation, and deployment); design and develop solutions; code well documented and tested meeting code integrity and static analysis targets; solve straightforward problems with high productivity; work with existing designs and technology choices within products, and make appropriate adjustments to existing designs when necessary; perform peer code reviews, receive feedback and refactor code; and identify repeated manual processes and advocate for automation prioritization. Telecommuting available from anywhere in the U.S.
