Here, you will make an impact by:Driving commercial efforts to support customer adoption of tape and adhesive bonding automation-enabled technologiesConnecting customer bonding needs with commercially available automation solutions and/or 3M internal support capabilitiesBe the internal subject matter expert on automated dispensing solutionsTraining and mentoring sales and technical team members on all aspects of automation and delivering tangible results through othersYour Skills and ExpertiseTo set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:Bachelors degree or higher (completed and verified prior to start) from an accredited institutionTen (10) years of Research & Development, Technical Service and/or Application Development in a private, public, government or military environmentSeven (7) years of experience in dispensing liquid adhesives with sales and/or customer experience in a private, public, government or military environment.Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:Knowledge and interest in the development of automation-enabling ecosystemsDemonstrated expertise and success in exploratory new products/platform work, including effective customer engagementProject experience working with sales and business development teamsHighly motivated and results oriented with strong execution skills (e.g. project management)Operates with a sense of urgency and customer-first mindsetWork location:Work Your Way Eligible (Employee choice to work remote, on site, or hybrid)Travel: May include up to 25% domestic/internationalRelocation Assistance: May be authorizedMust be legally authorized to work in country of employment without sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H1B status).Supporting Your Well-being3M offers many programs to help you live your best life both physically and financially.
