We are currently seeking an experienced and knowledgeable Master Data Management Lead to join our team and provide expert support for the implementation and development of the CoverMyMeds master data management (MDM) program.

Our ideal candidate would be based in Columbus, OH near our CoverMyMeds headquarters, but we will consider a highly-qualified, fully-remote candidate.

What You'll Do

As a Master Data Management Lead, your daily to-dos will shift with business needs, but here's a snapshot of what to expect:

Define and establish the MDM vision, strategy, and roadmap in alignment with the business goals and objectives.

Lead the setup and roll-out of MDM solutions and tools, ensuring effective integration with other systems.

Create and oversee data governance policies and standards for master data creation, maintenance, and quality.

Collaborate with business and IT stakeholders to understand and capture data requirements, ensuring master data meets user and system needs.

Develop training materials and provide training to business users about MDM processes, tools, and standards.

Manage relationships with MDM solution vendors and internal stakeholders and partners.

Advocate for the importance of master data management and lead change management initiatives related to MDM.

Regularly assess the MDM processes, tools, and policies and recommend improvements.

Ensure that master data management processes are compliant with relevant regulations and that data is securely handled.

Skills You'll Need

Bachelor's degree in engineering, science, or computer science or other data related field

7-10 years of relevant experience, related to data management or data governance with a demonstrated track record in implementing MDM tools and initiatives.

Strong understanding of MDM tools, data architectures, database management systems, and ETL processes.

Ability to design, implement, and maintain data models that can scale and accommodate a variety of data types.

Proficiency in SQL and experience with leading databases like Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL, etc.

Ability to identify, rectify, and prevent data quality issues.

Knowledge of techniques to integrate data from various sources and ensure a single version of truth.

Ability to analyze complex data sets and derive insights.

Grasp of organizational business processes to understand how data flows and how it can be optimized.

Experience in leading cross-functional projects and managing timelines, resources, and stakeholders.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate complex technical topics for a non-technical audience.

Preferred Skills

Experience with MDM solutions such as Ataccama, Semarchy, and Reltio

Certification(s) in Master Data Management or Data Governance.

Master's degree in a related field.

Familiarity with industry-specific regulations related to data (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA).

Familiarity with cloud-based MDM solutions and integrations

As part of Total Rewards, we are proud to offer a competitive compensation package at CoverMyMeds. This is determined by several factors, including performance, experience and skills, equity, regular job market evaluations, and geographical markets. In addition to base pay, other compensation, such as an annual bonus or long-term incentive opportunities may be offered.

Our Base Pay Range for this position

$124,500 - $207,500
