    We are offering an employment opportunity for a Network Engineer to join our team in the Gainesville, Florida area. This role involves a deep understanding of SCADA systems, DHCP, DNS, and cybersecurity principles, and will be integral in the maintenance and security of our network systems.


    Responsibilities:


    • Implement, manage, and troubleshoot SCADA (Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition) systems to ensure seamless control and monitoring of industrial operations.

    • Work collaboratively with automation and control teams for the integration of SCADA with other industrial frameworks.

    • Manage DHCP and DNS services to maintain network functionality and resource accessibility.

    • Design and manage robust network infrastructures, including routers, switches, and firewalls, ensuring their efficient operation.

    • Monitor network performance, manage system upgrades, and troubleshoot any arising issues.

    • Implement robust security policies and best practices to identify and mitigate potential cybersecurity threats.

    • Maintain system security protocols in line with industry standards, and perform vulnerability scans, patch management, and risk assessments for network and SCADA systems.

    • Document network architecture, configurations, and change logs comprehensively, and create detailed reports on network performance, issues, and security audits.

    • Provide support for escalated network-related incidents and outages, ensuring minimal downtime.

    • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including IT, cybersecurity, and operations.

    • Proficiency in Active Directory administration and management.
    • Strong knowledge and experience in Configuration Management.
    • Demonstrated expertise in DHCP (Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol).
    • Solid understanding of DNS (Domain Name System) operations.
    • Familiarity with NIST (National Institute of Standards and Technology) guidelines.
    • Experience with Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) systems.
