Job Description:

This position is currently based in our New Albany customer care center and is considered an on-site position. ​​​​​​

We are currently hiring for a schedule with a start time of:

  • 8:00 AM EST(Ohio)

Note: Shifts are Monday - Friday

What You’ll Do

  • Responsible for providing high quality service by responding and resolving customers questions about their Discover Card account pertaining to active, discharged, and or dismissed bankruptcy cases.

  • Specialists will ensure the customer's experience is both thorough and comfortable.

  • Resolving customer's issues via the telephone is partnered with non-phone related processes pertaining to the goal of ensuring that all bankruptcy rules and regulations are followed as they relate to Discover Card customers.

  • Actively manages and escalates risk and customer-impacting issues within the day-to-day role to management.

How You’ll Do It

  • Provides customer service to incoming bankruptcy calls including research, following process through to conclusion, documents appropriately including updating account information.

  • Specialist on four bankruptcy processes, testing of new processes / systems (UAT) recording findings from reports, tests and handles any subsequent training.

  • Responsible for review of critical bankruptcy processes.

  • Maintains assignments to ensure completeness within prescribed time frame.

  • Acts as a lead for the team when the Team Coach or Team Leader are not available and may train other representatives.

Qualifications You’ll Need

  • Associates Degree in Finance or related field

Compensation:

The base pay for this position generally ranges between $17.50 to $22.42. Additional incentives may be provided as part of a market competitive total compensation package. Factors, such as but not limited to, geographical location, relevant experience, education, and skill level may impact the pay for this position.
