Aerotek Break Press Operator | $20-28/hr in Cleveland, Ohio

Description:

Type: DIRECT HIRE

Position: Break Press Operator

Pay: $20 to 28/hr

Summary

Brake Press Operator within a large structural and custom fabrication and welding environment that takes large quality orders for the Naval, Crane, and Mining industry. Work environment isn't a micromanage space and will allow individuals to be leaders of their space and aid in future career development.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Operation of a Press Brake to form steel components for application in heavy industrial, energy, and defense industries.

  • Understand and interpret blue prints and technical drawings.

  • Operate overhead cranes and material handling equipment

  • Conduct dimensional inspections of parts and check for quality requirements

  • Adhere to lean manufacturing initiatives, work instructions, quality requirements, and safety programs.

  • Maintain proper operator level preventive maintenance to ensure continuous machine operation.

  • Maintain a clean and safe work area

  • Other duties as assigned
