Job Description:
Need 1 full time, temporary, seasonal Pilot to work at locations near Euclid, MN.
From: 04/25/2024 to 11/01/2024
Work: 48 hrs./week, Mon. - Sat. 8 hrs./day, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
The employer will pay a salary of $9,999.00 / month (equivalent to $4,999.50 / biweekly, or $2,499.75 / week). The employer will maintain a timekeeping system to ensure that, at the end of the employment period, the worker will be paid at least $60.83 per hour for all hours worked. The hourly wage is based on SOC Code 53-2012 Commercial Pilot, Minnesota Median Annual Wage of $126,535.79.
Possibility of bonus at the end of the season, at employer's sole discretion.

JOB DESCRIPTION: Proficient in reading and writing in English. Operate aircraft in compliance with FAA guidelines to ensure that all flights are conducted safely. Demonstrates strong understanding and proficiency in systems of operating the aircraft. Assess land for possible obstructions and land terrain prior to starting aerial application. Analyze the weather forecast prior to each flight. Perform aerial spraying of appropriate ag input materials required for each location. Participates in loading of aircraft with utmost care to prevent chemical overflow, product contamination or aircraft damage. Complies with all chemical label instructions. Rinses aircraft hopper as instructed. Updates ground crew on application expectations and hazards. Communicates any aircraft concerns to the owner immediately. Complete aircraft ground handling when necessary. Appropriately secures aircraft when left unattended. Applies aircraft fuel as needed. Timely completes all required assignments, flight records, and application records. Other job duties as assigned by the owner. Regular and consistent attendance is expected.

EMPLOYER ASSURANCES: Work guaranteed for 3/4 of contract period, starting with date of arrival at work site. Employer provides free housing for workers whose residence is beyond normal commuting distance. Employer pays inbound transportation and subsistence to work site upon 50% completion of work contract for workers whose residence is beyond normal commuting distance. Daily subsistence will be provided at a rate of at least $15.88 per day during travel to a maximum of $59.00 per day with receipts. Required work-related tools and supplies provided free of charge by employer.
