ManTech Agile Product Manager in United States

Currently, we are seeking a motivated, career and team-oriented Agile Product Manager in support of the U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA) Continuous Diagnostic & Mitigation (CDM) Data Services Program. The CDM Data Services Program is a critical component of CISA’s national effort to ensure the defense and resilience of cyberspace. This is a remote position where the candidate can work from any location within the United States provided, they are able to work on an eastern time zone schedule.

The CDM Data Services Program mission is to provide a standardized platform to collect, transform, and integrate cybersecurity data from relevant authoritative data sources into a coherent data, delivering actionable information into Agency and Federal Dashboards to identify risk areas in support of mitigation as well as to facilitate coordinated agency and national response to cyber-threats.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Defining and supporting the building of desirable, feasible, viable, and sustainable products that meet customer needs over the product-market lifecycle.

  • Collaboration with a wide range of people to identify and define customer needs, understand the Solution Context, and develop the Program Vision, Roadmap, and Features required to meet these needs.

  • Creating and improving agile processes within product teams across the overall organization

  • Coordination with decision makers, teams, and other parts of the organization to optimize value delivery.

  • Monitoring the health of the collective team, checking that commitments, pace and quality are on track.

  • Working with teams to identify trade-offs between short-term and long-term benefits, and help teams achieve the best value fastest.

  • Supporting business owners in gathering customer and market data; conduct qualitative and quantitative analysis to identify new features, changes, and other opportunities.

  • Assisting product owners in developing product strategy and roadmap

  • Driving and managing updates to the technology product roadmap by facilitating regular discussions regarding business capabilities, timing and prioritization

  • Monitoring technology product performance, product delivery, product support, and changes to technology solutions supporting the technology product to identify new features, changes, and opportunities to include in the future outlook and roadmap for the technology product.

Basic Qualifications:

  • A SAFe Agile Product Management (APM) or SAFe Product Owner/Product Manager (POPM) Certification.

  • A bachelor’s degree in IT-related field, or equivalent work experience.

  • A minimum (5) five years of experience in IT Product Management in Agile environments.

  • A minimum (3) years of experience as a Product Manager leading an ART with at least 3 Agile Software Development Teams.

  • Lean-Agile Leadership Mindset and able to coach agile principles.

  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple and significantly complex projects and assignments in a production environment with a high level of autonomy and accountability for results.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Demonstrated coordination and project management skills with at least (3) three years of experience in leading cross-functional development work in the production environment.

  • High organizational agility and ability of representing the product development team in communication with the senior leadership.

  • Must work well under pressure to meet deadline requirements.

Security Clearance Requirements

  • Must be a US citizen (Non-dual citizenship)

  • Able to obtain and maintain a DHS Suitability (EOD)

Physical Requirements

  • Must be able to be in a stationary position more than 50% of the time

  • Must be able to communicate, converse, and exchange information with peers and senior personnel

  • Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a computer

  • The person in this position frequently communicates with co-workers, management, and customers, which may involve delivering presentations. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations

  • The person in this position needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.
