Your Impact:

The TKO Program is seeking a Linux System Administrator r to support the Cybersecurity Intelligence Team (CIT) TTO which provides normalization of cyber security data and automation of cyber threat intelligence. This position is part of an operations support team responsible for dataflow implementation including transitions from legacy to modern systems and monitoring of implemented data flows.

Responsibilities: 

  • Linux system administration and integration experience (RHEL, CentOS, Ubuntu)
  • Cloud services experience (AWS, Azure); services provisioning, management of virtual services, familiarity with vendor Platform as a Service offerings.
  • System monitoring and maintenance to include service upgrades and security patching and IAVA management.
  • Troubleshooting of services (Tier 1-2 level)
  • Configuration management support, familiarity with Puppet/SIMP, Ansible, Salt, Chef
  • RPM development, deployment, and upgrade experience
  • Familiarity with configuration and workflow tools such as GitLab, Jira

Here’s what you’ll need:

  • Perform systems engineering activities and assist in the preparation of a work product in Technical Process Areas associated with the ISO/IEC 15288.
  • Perform systems engineering activities and assist in the preparation of multiple work products in Project and/or Technical Process Areas associated with any of the ISO/IEC 15288 processes.
  • Assist in performing systems engineering activities in the ISO/IEC 15288 Agreement or Enterprise Process Areas.
  • Perform analysis of technical alternatives for a project and make preliminary recommendations.
  • Develop and deliver a work product in any of the ISO/IEC 15288 Process Areas.
  • Perform systems engineering activities and develop and deliver work products of either the ISO/IEC 15288 Agreement or Enterprise Process Areas.
  • Independently analyze and recommend alternatives for elements of project’s technical design. 
  • Perform systems engineering activities and develop and deliver work products in each of the ISO/IEC 15288 Project and Technical Process Areas.

Clearance Required:

  • Active TS/SCI with Polygraph

Minimum Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree, Master’s degree or PhD in Aeronautics, Biomedical, Chemical, Civil, Computer, Electrical, Environmental, Mechanical, Nuclear, Software, Systems and Engineering Management or a related discipline such as Chemistry, Computer Science, Information Systems, Mathematics and Physics from an accredited college or university. 

Minimum Years of Experience: 

  • Six (6) years of systems engineering experience with a Bachelor’s degree.
  • Four (4) years of systems engineering experience with a Master’s degree or PhD.
  • Ten (10) years of general system engineering experience (any process area) with a High School Diploma or GED.
