Key Responsibilities
Develop and Implement Modeling Tools: Utilize hydrologic and hydraulic
modeling software (e.g., HEC-HMS, HEC-RAS, SWMM) for projects
involving stormwater management, floodplain mapping, and water quality
studies.
Stormwater System Evaluation and Solution Design: Identify deficiencies in
existing stormwater systems and engineer solutions to mitigate flood risks
while enhancing water quality.
Stormwater Infrastructure Design: Create and assess designs for stormwater
management systems, including but not limited to detention/retention
basins, culverts, storm sewers, and green infrastructure components.
